At HoraMundial.net we respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we process when you use the website horamundial.net, for what purpose and what your rights are, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection (LOPDGDD). This is a translation; in case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

2. What data we process
- Contact form: the name, email address, subject and message you send us, together with the date, IP address and browser type used to send it, which we use to prevent abuse.
- Technical browsing data: like any web server, our hosting provider automatically logs technical data (IP address, date and time, requested page and browser) for security and operational purposes. In addition, to limit automated submissions we keep an encrypted, non-reversible identifier derived from the IP address for a maximum of 24 hours.
- Your device time zone: the website uses it only inside your browser to show your local time and time differences. It is not sent to our servers or stored.
We do not request special categories of data and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making.
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Answering your enquiries sent through the form or by email. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
- Keeping the website secure and preventing spam and fraudulent use. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Retention period
Contact messages are kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and for a maximum of 12 months after the last communication, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep them longer. Anti-abuse identifiers are deleted after 24 hours, and server logs are kept for the limited period set by the hosting provider.
5. Recipients
We do not share your data with third parties unless legally required. Our web hosting and email providers may access it solely to provide their services to us, under the corresponding data processing agreement. No international transfers outside the European Economic Area take place; should any provider do so in the future, it would be with the appropriate safeguards provided for in the GDPR.
6. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to
or through the Contact support page, stating the right you wish to exercise. If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of your country.
7. Cookies and local storage
This website currently does not use analytics or advertising cookies. Only the following technical elements are used, which are exempt from consent because they are necessary for the service you request (Art. 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002, LSSI-CE):
- hmsid (session cookie): created only on the contact page to protect the form (security token and captcha). It is deleted when you close the browser.
- hm-theme, hm-settings and hm-clocks (browser local storage): they save your normal/dark mode preference, time format and city list. They stay on your device, are never sent to any server and can be deleted from your browser settings.
The social sharing buttons are plain links: they do not load any script from those platforms or set cookies until you click them. If analytics or advertising services using cookies are added in the future, your prior consent will be requested through a notice and this policy will be updated.
8. Minors
This website is not directed at children under 14. If you are under that age, please do not send us personal data without the consent of your parents or guardians.
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, such as encrypted communications (HTTPS), protection of the form against automated submissions and restricted access to information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date. Please also read our Terms of Service.
